Background
An outdated existing multi-tenancy property with falling occupancy rates (one tenant in situ) due a full refurbishment of communal areas and suites to modern standards, the addition of shower facilities and external improvements.

Role
JMDC designed and implemented a managed construction scheme as a turn key solution, inc building control sign off and handover. This transformed a dated office building into a modern and contemporary space with functional communal areas and facilities, ready for the Building Manager to promote the facilities, increase rents and occupancy rates.
Special considerations were taken into working around the occupying tenant to minimise any disruption and promote a healthy relationship whilst undertaking the construction project.

Brief
JMDC were able to consult and design a full refurbishment scheme to elevate the communal areas and tenant suites to full Grade A office facilities. To encourage alternative travel to work and promote wellbeing we incorporated showers, a gym and facilities for cyclists.
